History of Lindengates Academy
Mayfi's International School, now known as Lindengates Academy, was established 4th November, 2002. Mayfi’s Int’l blossomed from a burgeoning school, catering for the academic needs of day-care and nursery children to a full-blown school - Lindengates Academy in 2017 - providing competitive and challenging first-rate international education for students between the ages of 3 months and 16 years.
The name Lindengates was derived from the Linden tree, a species of trees found around the world and in different cultures. It is a symbol of creativity, adaptability and imagination. Its various parts (flowers, leaves, stems, etc.) are also believed to be replete with health benefits.
This fittingly describes the total package we offer and is in line with our school's vision and mission to raise global citizens who learn to discover and develop their full potential for the development of the individual and society. The Linden tree is also associated with justice and truth, attributes which learners at Lindengates are made to cultivate and develop.

Lindengates Academy is an affordable school of international standards that offers a beautiful but challenging blend of the Nigerian and British / Cambridge curricula. We currently cater for the needs of students within the age of 3 months to 16 years; Day Care, Nursery to Year 12.
